Southern Willamette Forest Collaborative
Coming Together for Healthy Forests & Communities

Landscape Planning
The Committee
The Landscape Planning Collaboration Committee (LPCC) is the primary committee where SWFC members collaborate around future Forest Service projects such as the East Oakridge Strategy. Meetings are held on the first Monday of every month at the Oakridge Industrial Park offices, 48513 Hwy 58, or online.
The East Oakridge Strategy
The East Oakridge Strategy is a plan that will manage the forests east of Oakridge. The Forest Service is creating this management plan to protect the forests, communities and firefighters. Community input will help guide the goals of the strategy. We welcome you to work with the Southern Willamette Forest Collaborative to help develop management goals.
There are three project areas:
-
Dead Mountain
-
Aubrey Mountain
-
Kitson Ridge.
This project will be planned and completed over the next ten years.

Fire History Research: Historical Fire Disturbance and Successional Dynamics
History hidden in tree rings:
