About

Oakridge-Westfir Ready is a disaster resilience group create and ran by the community members of Oakridge and Westfir. This group is designed around the idea of “neighbors helping neighbors” in the event of an emergency.

 

Meetings are held the last Tuesday of each month from 1-2pm at the Oakridge Industrial Park, 48513 Hwy 58, Oakridge, OR 97463. Hybrid option available.

  • RIGDON LANDSCAPE ANALYSIS - RIGDON LANDSCAPE PROJECT
    The Rigdon Collaboration Committe and the Forest Service worked together to design the Forest Landscape Analysis and Design (FLAD). Using the FLAD the Rigdon Landscape Analysis (RLA) is complete.     This program is a result of the partnership between the City of Oakridge, Southern Willamette Forest Collaborative (SWFC), Lane Regional Air Protection Agency (LRAPA), and Brock's Wood Lot working together to reduce woodsmoke pollution in the surrounding Oakridge airshed. Additionally, this project would not be possible without the support of local companies and sponsors including Seneca, Jerry Swearingen, Roseburg, Union Pacific Railroad that have donated wood or materials to the program.
